Zaibatsu
It was inevitable really. The wars. The economic swings. The great space-mining race of the 2120’s that left hundreds of thousands stranded in the void.
No matter who you were, what country you belonged to, or how much money you were born with, you quickly learned just like everyone else that the governments were something antiquated. Their policies and laws may have made sense for a population in the 1900’s, but this new, interplanetary world where reality and digital data lay intermixed like pixels in an old monitor needed something different. The people were begging for change. They needed to be controlled.
The Zaibutsu were born again.
